🦬 The Key to Stop Living a Lukewarm Life

When Arnold Schwarzenegger was training for Mr. Olympia, he would sleep at the gym, not going home for days at a time.

Kobe Bryant famously worked out at 4am, in addition to all of his other practices and training sessions.

Richard Branson started his airline, Virgin Atlantic, without even owning a plane, famously adopting the “Say ‘yes’ now and figure it out later” mindset.

All of these are examples of people living on fire - chasing after what they want with EXTREME levels of intentionality and action.

So why aren’t you living on fire…? You want to, right? We all do!

Everywhere I look, I see men who want to be one thing - they want to be this type of person or do this type of thing - but the fire in their soul has been repressed to a dwindling flicker of conformity and blending in.

So how, as men, can we shed that mentality - how can we quit living lukewarm and start living on fire?

Here’s how…

To achieve the impossible, you must attempt the absurd.

- Miguel de Cervantes

Here is what it takes…

It takes getting extreme.

It takes getting weird.

It takes putting yourself on the line - taking unconventional actions with an uncommon level of intentionality - for long enough that the universe can’t help but reward you.

By the Way…

I just dropped a new podcast episode all about this topic!

Every Friday, I put out an episode talking about how we - as men - can become the best version of ourselves, and this week I tackle the topic of “How can we stop living a lukewarm life?”

Specifically, I break down three examples and the lessons within them:

  • The importance not WAITING to get weird, through the eyes of Rick Barry

  • The importance of getting weird in real life, through the eyes of Jesse Itzler

  • The importance of getting weird on a radically - almost irrationally - consistent basis, through the eyes of yours truly

… and I’d be really grateful if you checked it out!

As always, I appreciate your guys’ support and am humbled that you would let me speak into your lives - even if it is just once or twice/week.

If you enjoy my content, feel free to pass it on to somebody you think could benefit from it!

Until next time… YOU DA MAN!
